"INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & INNOVATION DAYS" conference's official opening

It's here! The second edition of the "INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & INNOVATION DAYS" conference officially began today, on April 1st, 2025, at the Institute of Informatics of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of the University of Gdańsk. The event will last 3 days, hosted at 3 different universities: the University of Gdańsk, the Medical University of Gdańsk and the Gdańsk University of Technology.

The conference, initiated by the Technology Transfer Centre, combines the worlds of science and business, addressing the topics of intellectual property and commercialization of research results. It is also a great opportunity to establish contacts and cooperation between scientists and entrepreneurs.

At the official opening, the Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Development, dr hab. Paweł Antonowicz, prof. UG, spoke on behalf of the Rector of the University of Gdańsk, prof. dr hab. Piotr Stepnowski. After that, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, dr hab. Marcin Marciniak, prof. UG took a stand, not only to solemnly welcome the conference participants, but also to briefly talk about the Faculty's great initiatives, like cooperation with Univentum Labs.
